Marta Kahancova participated in the COST CANWON workgroup meeting in Newcastle

Marta Kahancova participated in the COST Cancer and Work Network (CANWON) workgroup meeting in Newcastle, 16-17.4.2015.
At the meeting, Marta Kahancova presented findings of an international research project on involvement of patient organizations in shaping the quality of healthcare in 6 EU member states.
The aim of CANWON is to integrate emerging knowledge on cancer and work to achieve insight into the return-to-work process in cancer survivors, work-related costs of cancer survivorship, and the role of employers as well as to develop and evaluate innovative interventions which effectively enhance work participation of cancer patients.
