Timea Pál is a doctoral candidate in political science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) specializing in international and comparative political economy. Her dissertation thesis explores the interactions across state and corporate regulations of labor and environmental practices in global production networks, using the electronics industry from Central and Eastern Europe as the empirical window. She is currently located in Budapest to conduct field research.
