Marek Gora is a professor at the Warsaw School of Economics, where he teaches macroeconomics, pension and labour economics and economic policy (previously also econometrics and forecasting) . He is also a visiting professor at the College of Europe, where he teaches social policy. During his academic career, he completed research at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and London School of Economics. He is a Research Fellow at IZA – Institute for the Study of Labor, Bonn. Marek Gora is an author of many publications in the field of pension economics, labour economics, unemployment, labour market policies. He is a member of several Polish and international economists’ organisations. He worked with the OECD (DELSA). He is the co-author of the new Polish pension system and the leader of the reform team. He is working on pension reforms in various countries.
