Ensuring that this transition is both fair and effective requires evidence-based policy, social dialogue, and a deep understanding of how industries and workers are affected.

CELSI researcher Monika Martišková will join the discussion “Trump, China, and Green Electricity: Turning Geopolitical Pressure into an Industrial Advantage” at the 8th annual conference “Decarbonisation of the Slovak Economy 2025”, organised by EURACTIV Slovakia.

Monika will bring CELSI’s rich expertise in industrial transformation, just transition, and labour market adaptation — key areas of our ongoing research on how decarbonisation can strengthen competitiveness and social cohesion in Central Europe.
