We are pleased to announce that the Central European Labour Studies Institute (CELSI) has been appointed as the national correspondent of the Network of Eurofound Correspondents (NEC) for Slovakia.

The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) is a tripartite EU agency established in 1975, providing knowledge and expertise to support the development of better social, employment, and work-related policies across the European Union.

For the next four years, CELSI will be part of this pan-European network of national research institutions and experts who collaborate closely with Eurofound to monitor and document developments across EU member states.

The network serves as Eurofound's eyes and ears on the ground, enabling the agency to track national trends, collect comparable data, and produce timely analyses that feed into its research and policy work across four core areas: industrial relations and social dialogue, working conditions, employment and labour markets, and living conditions.

As the national correspondent for Slovakia within the NEC, CELSI will carry out systematic research and monitoring activities across these four areas, while collaborating closely with social partners and governmental institutions in Slovakia to maintain a continuous exchange of information.

Last week, Eurofound warmly welcomed the Network of Eurofound Correspondents to its offices in Dublin, where CELSI was represented by Managing Director Marta Kahancová and Senior Researcher Monika Martišková, who serves as CELSI's lead correspondent within the NEC.

The gathering provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships among NEC correspondents, exchange insights on current research priorities, and deepen the collaboration between Eurofound and its national correspondents.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Eurofound team for their warm hospitality and for organising this meeting. We look forward to four years of fruitful collaboration!
