Patrik Gažo is a doctoral student at the Department of Environmental Studies at Masaryk University, dealing with society's socio-ecological transformation in terms of industrial work, just transition of production, and (auto)mobility. He focuses on contradictions and relationships between the interests of the working class and nature and how it relates to efforts to address the environmental and climate crisis. Specifically, he examines the role of production workers in the process of transition of the automotive industry to electromobility and also automobile workers´ opportunities and obstacles to be a part of the larger socio-ecological transformation of the society.
