Sabina Avdagic is currently an UK Research Councils (RCUK) Academic Fellow at University of Sussex (since October 2006). Previously she was a post-doctoral research fellow at the Max Planck Institute in Cologne, a Jean Monnet Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, and a research fellow at the EUI's Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies. During her graduate studies she was a visiting fellow at Cornell University, and an International Policy Fellow of the Open Society Institute. She holds a PhD in Political Science and an MA in International Relations from Central European University, and a BA in economics from the of University of Zagreb. Sabina is a member of the Executive Council of the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics (SASE). She also organises (with Lucio Baccaro, MIT) SASE's research network on 'Industrial Relations and Political Economy.'
