Can stronger collective bargaining improve conditions in waste management across Central and Eastern Europe?

On Thursday, June 11, 2025, CELSI researcher Monika Martišková will speak at a Scientific Seminar on collective bargaining in waste management and green jobs, taking place in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The seminar is part of the CEECAW project, which aims to develop collective bargaining in three sectors in EU Central and Eastern European countries and Serbia.

The Scientific Seminar in Sofia will highlight the comparative report on the waste management sector in 12 countries and its conclusions, which will be presented and discussed.

CELSI researcher Monika Martišková will join researchers Vera Weghmann (PSIRU, University of Greenwich), Rumiana Jeleva (IPS-BAS), and moderator Vassil Kirov (IPS-BAS) for a discussion on “Work and the Circular Economy”.
