How prepared is the Slovak labour market for the decarbonisation of industry? What policies and strategies can help ensure that the green transition also supports quality employment?

At the upcoming DEEPLAB webinar, the research presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with representatives from industry, social partners and sectoral institutions reflecting on current pathways to decarbonisation and their implications for the labour market.

đź’¬ Panel discussion: Current pathways to decarbonising Slovak industry and labour market readiness

Participants include Alexandra Šarinová (Sector Skills Council for Metallurgy, Foundry and Forging Industries), Rudolf Mackovič (Executive Director, Slovak Cement Producers Association) and Monika Benedeková (President, OZ KOVO).

📊 Earlier in the programme, CELSI researchers Monika Martišková and Jakub Barszcz will present the main results of the project’s modelling work.

📌 The DEEPLAB project was supported by the European Union – NextGenerationEU through the Slovak Recovery and Resilience Plan.
