Sexual Harassment at the Workplace

Marta Kahancová presented key findings from the report on workplace sexual harassment

May 13, 2025

How can trade unions help the victims of sexual harassment at the workplace?

From May 7–9, trade unionists and experts from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, and Slovakia gathered in Njivice, Island of Krk, to strengthen their role in protecting workers from sexual harassment at the workplace.

Organised within the Sexual Harassment at the Workplace project - coordinated by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in Croatia in partnership with SSSH - the workshop was a powerful space for exchange, reflection, and strategy building.

Marta Kahancová, Managing Director of CELSI, contributed by presenting key findings from the regional comparative research report on workplace sexual harassment - grounding the discussions in data and cross-country insights.

Over three days, union representatives trained, shared experiences, and prepared future sessions to empower others - returning home with new tools, fresh perspectives, and renewed commitment to safer workplaces.
