Last Friday (27 March 2026), CELSI researcher Monika Martišková took part in an interview discussion with euBrief, focusing on one of the most pressing questions for today’s labour markets: how will the green transition reshape jobs and industries?

In the conversation, Monika addressed what happens to employment when industries begin to significantly reduce emissions, who stands to gain and who may be at risk, and how job profiles are already starting to change.

The discussion also explored the role of re-skilling and up-skilling in supporting workers through this transition, as well as the opportunities that green transformation may bring – including for women in the labour market.

💬 The interview highlights the importance of linking climate policies with labour market strategies to ensure that the transition is not only environmentally sustainable, but also socially fair.
