Martin Kahanec, co-founder and Scientifir Director of CELSI, published an opinion piece in SME Daily on why Slovaks often lack healthy pride in their country and how this undermines faith in its future.
“More reasons for pride will come from greater commitment. Not from passivity or from spreading the gospel of despair, but from active citizenship and concrete actions – from the willingness to go vote to the willingness to lend a hand in the community, at school, or at work” stresses Kahanec.
